Injuries reported after crash involving bus, tractor-trailer outside Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - A crash between a bus and a tractor-trailer has left several people with minor injuries Friday in Washington County.

The collision happened just after 5 a.m. along eastbound Interstate 70 near Route 40 outside Hagerstown, Maryland. Police closed eastbound Interstate 70 at Route 40 for several hours.

Officials say approximately 60 people were on the bus at the time of crash. It is unclear how many of those people were hospitalized.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
