I-95 traffic snarled by 2 crashes in Prince William County

Two crashes involving tractor trailers snarled traffic on Interstate 95 during the rush hour commute early Wednesday morning in Prince William County.

The crashes happened near Quantico, Virginia at Mile Marker 149 and 150 on I-95 heading northbound, according to Virginia State Police.

Authorities said the crash at Mile Marker 149 sent one person to the hospital and involved a diesel fuel spill. There were no injuries reported at the Mile Marker 150 crash, but there was also an oil spill at that location.

The crashes shut down the highway at Exit 148, but lanes have since reopened.
