Horseback riding instructor accused of sexual assault during lessons

Stafford County deputies arrested a 64-year-old horseback riding instructor after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman to whom he was giving lessons. Police say it's not the first time he's been charged in connection to an alleged sexual assault during lessons, and investigators want to hear from any other possible victims.

Boris Gokovski was indicated by a Stafford County Grand Jury after the sheriff's office received a complaint in May from a female victim, who alleges Gokovski sexually assaulted her at the B&R Ranch. Investigators say Gokovski is one of the owners of B&R Ranch, where he is also a horseback riding instructor.

Deputies said the alleged assault occurred in the late summer and early fall of 2016, while Gokovski was giving the victim horseback riding lessons. He faces four counts of sexual battery in connection to his most recent indictment. He was arrested on Wednesday, and was released from the Rappahannock Regional Jail on $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arrained in court on July 20.

In addition, Gokovski was previously indicted in May after allegations that he sexually assaulted a female juvenile during the summer and fall of 2016. In that case, he was indicted on two counts of custodial indecent liberties and four counts of assault and battery.

Anyone who may have had similar contact with Gokovski is asked to call the Stafford County Sheriff's Office at (540) 658-4400, or Crime Solvers at (540) 659-2020.
