Funeral arrangements announced for Montgomery County Police Officer Noah Leotta

The funeral arrangements for a Montgomery County police officer struck and killed while conducting a traffic stop in Rockville have been announced.

Officer Noah Leotta was working on the department's Holiday Alcohol Task Force on Dec. 3 when a driver of a passing vehicle hit him after he had pulled over another driver.

Police say who struck Leotta is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

Officer Leotta died at the hospital from his injuries on Thursday.

The 24-year-old officer grew up in Montgomery County and graduate from Sherwood High School. He attended Montgomery College and interned with the department starting in 2011. Leotta graduated from the academy in 2013.

Visitation
- Monday, December 14, 2015
- From 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- From 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service
- Tuesday, December 15, 2015
- 11:00 a.m.
- Covenant Life Church, 7501 Muncaster Mill Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland
- Please note that the family will arrive at 10:30 a.m. so attendees should plan to arrive well prior to that.
- There will be a procession to the cemetery.

Interment
- Will immediately follow the service
- Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, Maryland
