BETHESDA, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Furloughed workers can get some help filling their gas tanks up for free Wednesday. Mobile gas delivery company, FILLD, is partnering with iHeart Radio to offer the free gas to workers impacted by the government shutdown.
The free gas will be available at two locations:
- 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Westfield Montgomery Mall in the Bethesda area.
- 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of P and 9th Streets at Shiloh Church in Northwest, D.C.
The company says there is a 10 gallon of gas limit per person and you need your government ID to fill up. FILLD has only 400 gallons of gas for each stop -- so supplies are limited.
Hey DC! Are you furloughed? Join Filld tomorrow from 9-12pm at the Westfield Montgomery Mall or from 1-4pm at Shiloh Church, 1500 9th St NW to #getfilld - we're donating 10 gallons of gas with your government ID. (available while supplies last)— Filld (@getfilld) January 23, 2019
