- Frederick Police arrest a woman for theft and numerous traffic offenses.

Police were called at a business in the 1000 block of Key Parkway for a theft which had just occurred.
The victim told police that a female stole her wallet and left driving a red sedan.
An officer saw a red car parked in a parking lot and noticed it had front end damage and the dome light was illuminated.
The occupant of that car was identified as Sara Lynn Eyler.
During the course of the investigation Officers were able to determine she was the suspect in the theft and was involved in a hit and run property damage accident while intoxicated. The victim's property, to include a state issued driver's license belonging to the victim, was recovered from inside Eyler's vehicle.
Eyler was placed under arrest. While in the back of the patrol vehicle Eyler began slamming her head into the door and window. When Officers attempted to stop her from injuring herself she bit one of the Officers in the forearm.
She was transported to Frederick Police Headquarters and eventually processed at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center without further incident.
