- A father of three was gunned down and left to die on a Prince George’s County street early Saturday morning, according to police.

Prince George’s County police said 37-year-old Anthony Russell, of Oxon Hill, was shot to death in the 4700 block of Cypress Creek Drive in Chillum.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Russell’s family told FOX 5 he was found with four bullet wounds to the chest and with his pockets turned inside out.

His family said Russell’s wallet, money and phone were missing.

“I can’t even express how badly I want someone to come forward. We need this case resolved. He did not deserve to be executed the way he was,” Russell’s mother Teri Salley told FOX 5. “It’s my prayer that anyone who has any information, the slightest information to call crime solvers.”

If you have any information that could aid detectives in their investigation, you were urged to call Prince George’s County Crime Solvers at (866) 411-8477.

A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.
