Dump truck victim Valerie Tillett fitted for new legs

A woman who was pinned under a dump truck three years ago, ultimately losing both her legs, has been fitted for prostheses.

Valerie Tillett was hit by a dump truck at a cross walk near the D.C. Superior Court. She nearly lost her life in the accident, but she is staying positive.

Tillett is working as a minister and is excited to relearn how to walk. She has been in a wheel chair since the accident in June 2014.

FOX 5 DC reported on the four U.S. Marshals who were first on scene to help Tillett immediately after the accident.
