1 dead in District Heights shooting

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. - Prince George's County police are investigating after one person was shot and killed Saturday morning in District Heights, Md.

Around 4:30 a.m., officers were called to an apartment complex located in the 1900 block of Rochelle Avenue for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have not released the victim's identity.
