DC police find parents of child wandering streets

WASHINGTON - Authorities have found the parents of a child who was wandering the streets of Northeast DC on Tuesday.

DC police said the child was found in the 5300 block of Chillum Place, Northeast, at about 9:40 a.m.

Officials asked the public for help locating the child's parents at about 2:30 p.m. Just after 4 p.m., police announced the child's parents had been found.
