PASADENA, Md. - The fire at Coconut Charlie’s was intentionally set early Friday morning, according to officials.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to Coconut Charlie’s on Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena, Maryland at about 3 a.m. for a two alarm fire.
Officials say the restaurant was heavily smoking when they arrived on scene.
Officials estimate the fire caused $200,000 in damages and that one firefighter was injured after falling off a ladder.
