Coast Guard stops search for missing swimmer in Ocean City

The Coast Guard says crews have stopped searching for a man who went missing while swimming off Ocean City.
The Coast Guard says 35-year-old James Lenhart disappeared around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Crews from the Coast Guard and other law enforcement agencies spent 10 hours searching for him, covering 55 nautical square miles.
Cmdr. Michael Keane, chief of response at Coast Guard Sector Baltimore, says the decision to suspend the search was a difficult one and his thoughts are with the missing man's family.
In an unrelated incident Saturday evening, a 7-year-old girl died after she was knocked down by a wave in Ocean City. Local officials are warning about rough surf.
