KENSINGTON, Md. - Authorities in Montgomery County say a small transport bus collided into a group home Tuesday afternoon in Kensington.
The crash happened at around 4:38 p.m. in the 3800 block of Lawrence Avenue.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer tweeted two bus passengers and one resident inside the house were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The bus struck an electric meter and has caused six residents to be displaced as a result of the accident, Piringer said. A building inspector has been requested to the scene.
