Suspicious package at Bladensburg High School cleared

BLADENSBURG, Md. - Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department's Bomb Squad investigated an unattended suspicious package inside Bladensburg High School, fire officials said Wednesday.

Fire spokesperson Mark Brady tweeted that the building was evacuated Wednesday afternoon.

Just after 8 p.m., the bomb squad gave the all-clear at the scene and the package declared safe and non-hazardous.
