The power outage at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta had a ripple effect on airports across the country, including right here at Reagan National and Dulles.

Ground stop means flights headed to that airport must remain the ground at their departure terminal.

The cause of the outage is under investigation, but according to Georgia Power, power should be restored by midnight.
