UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Maryland-National Capital Park Police responded to the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro Tuesday afternoon to help calm a dispute between upset horse owners and officials.
Police said the dispute is stemming from 21 horses being seized over the past few days across Prince George's County by animal control. These horses were being housed at the arena’s barns.
Some of the owners of the horses attempted to get their horses back and began arguing with officials, which led to police being called to the area.
