GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Police have charged four Montgomery County teenagers in the death of a 34-year-old man whose body was found in a shallow grave in August.

According to court documents filed Wednesday, the victim, Marvin Vargas-Osorio, was lured to the already-made grave in the Germantown area of the county, and then fatally stabbed by as many as five assailants.

Investigators believe Vargas-Osorio's body was in the grave less than six months.

Eighteen-year-old Luis F. Avelar Morales, 19-year-old Daniel Adonai Ramos, 18-year-old Edwin Reyes-Martinez and 18-year-old Juan Espinal Rapalo are charged with first-degree murder.

Avelar Morales, Ramos and Rapalo already were in custody on first-degree murder charges in the November death of 22-year-old Roberto Gutierrez Cruz.

Police say Cruz's body was found in a wooded area in Montgomery Village, calling the slaying gang-related.
