4 people shot in Southeast DC

D.C. police are investigating a quadruple shooting in Southeast D.C.

Police say two teenagers, one male and one female, and two other men were shot in the 1500 block of Butler Street at around 8:49 p.m. Wednesday.

They were all transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the victims, a 15-year-old, was shot in the thigh.

Sources tell FOX 5's Marina Marraco that high-caliber rifle rounds were found at the scene. They also say this shooting potentially stemmed from a gun battle that happened earlier in the night in Anacostia.

There is no lookout for possible suspects at this time.
