3 suspects sought in 7-Eleven armed robbery in SE DC

Police are asking for your help to identify three people wanted for an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven store in a busy Southeast D.C. shopping plaza.

Just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, a man with his head covered in a hooded sweatshirt walks in, scopes out the store in the 3000 block of Naylor Road and walks back out to the parking lot.

Seconds later, that man is followed by two others with their faces concealed as they storm the store. Two of them jump over the counter. One of them, who appears to be armed, corners both of the store employees by the cash register.

One of the men eventually cleans the register of cash and all three suspects run out of the store.

Police say if you have any information about the robbery or the three suspects, you are asked to call them at 202-727-9099 or text your tip to their tip line at 50411.
