WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Three people were assaulted in a Virginia home Friday night following a road rage incident in Prince William County, according to police.
Officials say three suspects, two men and a woman, were involved in a road rage incident with a 19-year-old man and then followed him to his house on Gascony Place in Woodbridge.
According to police, at around 8 p.m. the suspects forced their way inside the home and assaulted two people, a 43-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman.
Police say the suspects were armed with a handgun as well as an “edged object.”
The female victim was initially armed with a bat, which she was using in self-defense, but police say it was taken by one of the suspects who then used it on the male victim.
