WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Coast Guard medevaced an 80-year-old woman from a cruise ship approximately 50 miles south of Cape Lookout.
The Carnival Pride cruise ship was returning to Baltimore.

Sector North Carolina watchstanders received a report at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, from the cruise ship of an 80-year-old woman aboard suffering health complications.
The helicopter crew arrived at Carnival Pride at 3:15 p.m. and hoisted the woman.
She was flown to Carteret General Urgent Care in Morehead City,
She was last reported in stable condition.
"The cruise ship personnel were very professional and well-versed in hoisting operations, which made the evolution easier on us," said Lt. Daniel Reilly, helicopter pilot for the case.
