DUNDALK, Md. - Two men were killed and another four people were injured in a motorcycle crash late Friday evening, according to officials.
Maryland State Police responded to a 9-1-1 call from a motorist about the crash on the inner loop of I-695, just prior to the Sparrows Point exit at about 11 p.m.
The driver of a black motorcycle lost control and drove into the back of a construction vehicle in the adjacent lane before veering into four other motorcycles, causing them to crash, police report.
The first man killed in the crash was from Prince George’s County and the second man was from Montgomery County.
One of the injured persons was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The other three people injured in the crash were taken to other nearby hospitals.
The Maryland State Police Crash team is continuing the investigation.
