Two men were killed in a shooting in northeast Washington on Friday night, according to DC police. It happened in the 300 block of 34th Street NE in the River Terrace neighborhood.
At approximately 11:33 pm, police say officers responded to reports of a shooting. When they arrived, the found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS crews took one of the men to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The second victim was treated, but died at the scene. His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The victims have been identified as 40-year-old Raeshard Blue and 27-year-old Treyvon Johnson, both of northeast DC.
No arrests have been made in this case. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
