BELTSVILLE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - One person was killed, and three others were injured in a four-vehicle crash on I-95 in Prince George’s County early Saturday morning, according to State Police.State Police responded to the scene in Beltsville shortly after 4:15 a.m.
Investigators say a Honda Civic was traveling south in the northbound lane when it collided head-on with a Mitsubishi Gallant and then a BMW 325.
The BMW’s driver was partially thrown from the vehicle, before both vehicles crashed into a Lexus RX350.
The Honda – which was being driven by an unidentified woman – stopped on the right shoulder and caught fire.
The woman driving the Honda was trapped, and pronounced dead at the scene by fire and rescue personnel.
State Police are still investigating the crash.
