JetBlue's 'Flying it Forward' promotion gives Md. woman a free flight

A Baltimore woman won a free flight as part of JetBlue's "Flying It Forward" promotion.

"So I'm going to be heading to West Palm Beach and I'm going to be helping just learn more about wildlife, specifically turtles-- sea turtles. That was my big thing about going down there," Megan Barlly said.

She got her complimentary ticket by sending a tweet to JetBlue with the hashtag #FlyingItForward.

"I'd travel to FL to help w/ Sea turtles- Beach clean up, advocacy, etc. We want to keep the aquatic life abundant @JetBlue #FlyingItForward," the tweet said.

"So I'm going to be shadowing a zookeeper.  I'm also going to be having a tortoise encounter and I'm going to be doing a behind the scenes tour at the West Palm Beach Conservation Society," Barlly added.

Barlly was selected for the campaign by the previous winner.

"And really it's our goal to connect others and spread goodness across our network, and as an airline founded on the mission to inspire humanity," said Jamie Lawson with JetBlue.

Barlly says she's excited to select the next person to take the ticket and fly to some other JetBlue destination to fulfill their wish by flying it forward.

The only restriction is that the person has to fly from West Palm Beach.
