Authorities are investigating after white nationalist fliers were posted around the University of Maryland campus. They were first reported on Monday, and they contain a website URL belonging to a group that refers to themselves online as white nationalists.

FOX 5 DC obtained a photo showing one of the fliers posted on a wall at UMD. It reads:

"A notice to all white Americans. It is your civic duty to report any and all illegal aliens to U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. They are criminals. America is a white nation."

The flier includes a number to call, and the website bloodandsoil.org, which is the website belonging to a group known as Vanguard America. The group's Twitter bio reads, "white nationalist American young working to secure the existance of their people." As of Thursday afternoon, their account had 421 followers.

The following is posted on the site's main page:

"America is under attack: We hear it every day: "Whiteness" is evil, and must be destroyed. Our religion, our traditions, and our identity are dragged through the mud by the globalist establishment while millions of nonwhites flood our nation every year. If current trends continue, White Americans will be a minority by 2044. It's time to take a stand."

Part of the group's manifesto states, "A multicultural nation is no nation at all, but a collection of smaller ethnic nations ruled over by an overbearing tyrannical state." The manifesto continues, "The group Our America is to be a nation exclusively for the White American peoples who out of the barren hills, empty plains, and vast mountains forged the most powerful nation to ever have existed."

University of Maryland campus police say they are investigating the incident. University President Wallace D. Loh released the following statement:

"The white nationalist posters found on college campuses, including our own, contain detestable language that is an affront to who we are, and what we stand for, as the State's flagship university. As a community, we stand for excellence, diversity, and inclusion. We stand against all forms of ignorance and hate."
