WASHINGTON - Two residents have been taken to the hospital for evaluation after a fire broke out at their house in Northwest D.C.
The fire was reported around 4:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of 7th Street. Authorities say they fought flames on both floors of the house and on the porch.

No cause for the fire has been determined. Firefighters were able to contain the flames before they spread to adjacent houses.
No other injuries were reported.
