Federal agents raid house in northern Virginia

A federal raid was conducted Thursday morning in the Lansdowne area near Leesburg in northern Virginia.

The raid happened in the 43500 block of Mahala Street. A resident told FOX 5 that she was outside walking her dog when agents told her to go back inside of her home early in the morning during the raid. She then told us she heard several flash bombs go off and saw the door of a nearby townhouse kicked in.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office assisted in the raid and posted on Facebook that there was no threat to the community.

It's unclear right now what or whom authorities are looking for.
