Fauquier County Sheriff's Office: 2 found dead in Bealeton home

A death investigation underway in Fauquier County after two men were found dead inside of a home.

The bodies were discovered at a home located along Salisbury Lane in Bealeton Friday morning.

Deputies for the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office were called out to the home at around 10 a.m. for a welfare check. It is not clear who made the call.

When the deputies arrived, they found the victims deceased inside.

According to neighbors, a total of four adults live at the home. A source tells FOX 5 that two of the people who reside in the house are currently out of the country in Vietnam.

"They just look like a normal family," said one neighbor. "You wouldn't expect that something like that would happen in this house. It makes me concerned because the cops or anybody else around here doesn't really know what is going on with what happened."

Authorities have not identified the victims and are working to notify next of kin.

"As this is an ongoing investigation, we don't know exactly what has occurred at this time, but we don't have any reason to believe there is any danger to anyone in the neighborhood," said Joell Kight, spokesperson for the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office.

A medical examiner will determine the cause of death for the victims.

Virginia State Police also responded to the scene and were seen collecting evidence along with the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about this incident or who may have witnessed anything to contact them.
