Fairfax County bus driver accused of sexually assaulting 79-year-old passenger

A Fairfax County bus driver has been suspended from his contracted position following allegations he sexually assaulted a 79-year-old passenger, according to Fairfax County police.

On Friday, June 10, the victim told police she was assaulted by a Fastran bus driver in early May while the bus was in the Lincolnia area, according to officials. The victim told officials the same suspect assaulted her on other occasions.

The victim did not require medical attention, officials said.

Fastran, is a county service, operated through a contract, and offers specialized transportation services for residents of the county and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church participating in human service agency programs.
