Disabled occupant hospitalized after house fire in Riverdale Heights

RIVERDALE HEIGHTS, Md. - One person was rushed to the hospital after a fire at a home in Prince George's County.

The fire was reported around 4:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of Sheridan Street in Riverdale Heights.

One occupant escaped on their own after suffering minor injuries. A disabled occupant was hospitalized after being assisted by firefighters.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
