Woman stabbed on Metro bus in Northeast, DC

A woman was stabbed on a Metro bus following a fight in Northeast, D.C. Wednesday, according to officials.

The incident happened on 58th Street Northeast and Foote Street Northeast. According to officials, the two women knew each other, and the victim does not have life threatening injuries. Metro could not specify where the victim was stabbed.

Officials say the suspect, who fled the scene and is still on the run, is a black female, 5'8" tall, 150 pounds with medium complexion and is wearing a blue greyhound uniform shirt with blue BDU cargo pocket style pants.
