DC mosque vandalized for second time in a week

The Ivy City Mosque on Gallaudet Street in northwest has been vandalized for a second time in a week.

Vandals broke furniture and ripped down religious wall hangings late Wednesday or early Thursday morning.

On Monday, a chair was thrown through a window and covers were ripped off prayer books and bookshelves were torn down.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction..
