Cold and windy arctic blast to keep temperatures well below normal

The snow is gone but another arctic blast is heading in our direction.

Temperatures are expected to drop Monday as most of the afternoon will be spent in the 20s.

Suburbs of the D.C. region will likely be in the single digits by tonight.

The forecast will be windy and cold. No more snow is in the forecast for the week, however, second arctic blast will hit on Wednesday night into Thursday.

The weekend will be dry weekend for the most part, with only a chance of rain, or snow, on Sunday.
