Clipper brings snow as coldest temps since March sweep over DC
WASHINGTON - Cold arctic wind and air swept across the D.C. region Wednesday with wind chills in the single digits and the coldest weather the area has seen since last March.
While the day's high temperatures reached the mid-30s, wind chills made it feel like it was in the teens and 20s for much of the day.
A clipper system moving in from the west brought snow showers late Wednesday evening and the snow may linger into Thursday morning. By sunrise on Thursday, a spotty dusting may have touched some area of the north and west of the District. Snow showers will also pop up in the forecast again on Friday.
