Cheers to the Weekend: Roses Cinnamon Carol

It's that time of the week when we say "Cheers to the weekend!" Every Friday, we invite a local bartender to share their signature cocktail with us.

This week, Elise Harrison from Roses Dejavu on H Street in Northeast D.C. joined us to mix up a "Roses Cinnamon Carol" for us.

Cocktail: Roses Cinnamon Carol

Recipe:

- 2 oz. Peligroso Cinnamon Tequila
- 1 oz. Vanilla
- Cinnamon Baileys
- .25 oz. butterscotch schnapps
- .25 oz. captain Morgan black or regular spiced rum
- Fill glass with ice and chocolate milk
- Whipped cream
- Garnish and sprinkled cinnamon or cinnamon sugar garnish. Or chocolate syrup.

Other cocktails:

Roses Jingle Rock

- 2 oz. Peligroso Cinnamon Tequila
- .5 oz. Apple pucker schnapps
- .25 oz. triple sec
- .25 oz. sour and lime juice
- Rim glass with cinnamon-sugar
- Shake and strain mixture into glass
- Finish with chopped red and apple slices on toothpick

Roses Berry Christmas

- Tall martini glass
- 2 oz ciroc Apple
- 2 oz dekuyper Apple pucker
- 2 oz simply lemonade
- 1 oz triple sec
- Shake and strain into martini glass
- Float peach-raspberry grand marnier
