Caught on Camera: Employee restrained while man robs Dollar Tree in Rockville

A Dollar Tree employee in Rockville encountered a scary experience when she opened the door to the stores restroom.

An adult male was inside of the restroom, when the employee opened the door the suspect pointed a gun at her. He then restrained her wrists, and used her keys to open the store's office. While holding a gun, the suspect then used the victim's keys to open the office's safe and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, he then fled out the front of the store, according to Montgomery County Police Department.

The incident happened on Tuesday, July 5 around 9:15 p.m. at the Dollar Tree store located at 1776 East Jefferson Street in Rockville.

The suspect is described as black male in his 30s, approximately 5′ 5″ to 5' 8" with a heavy build. He was wearing a white fisherman's style hat, black sunglasses, a black mask that covered the lower part of his face, a gray long-sleeved shirt and dark colored pants.
