Cars fall through ice at Lake Geneva Winterfest

LAKE GENEVA, Wisc. - Over a dozen cars sank through the ice at Lake Geneva's Winterfest Saturday.

The Lake Geneva Fire Department says the vehicles were all parked on the frozen lake during the annual event when the ice began to give way.

Winterfest is an annual event that takes place in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

It also includes the U.S. national snow sculpting competition, human sled racing and many more winter activities.

This is the 21st year of the resort town's winter festival.
