Car seat aims to prevent heat-related deaths by sounding alarm if baby is left inside
Walmart is selling a car seat designed to make sure parents don't forget their babies in a hot car.
It's by EvenFlo and sounds an alarm when a car ignition is turned off while a baby is strapped in the car seat.
A battery operated wireless receiver is embedded in the chest strap clip.
This car seat costs $150 and is available right now online. It will be in stores in August.
On average, 38 children die each year in hot car-related incidents.
