BYE ROMO: DC's most famous dog is moving to the suburbs

D.C.'s most famous four-legged resident is moving to the Virginia suburbs.

Romo, a giant bullmastiff and pit bull mix, has become somewhat of a celebrity in Adams Morgan over the years. He spends hours every day looking out his window at all of his fans who walk by.

On Romo's official Facebook page, he broke the news:

"Adams Morgan...thank you for giving me so much love over the years. My happiest moments were watching all the neat things that happened outside of this window and getting to say hi to the many strangers who quickly became familiar faces and then friends. I move on Friday and will miss how special you made me feel, but hope you don't forget me because I won't forget any of you."

Romo's owners posted a sign outside their condo that says, "Thanks for the memories. I'll miss you!!!"

Let's hope Romo finds a suitable window in his new home.
