Bus driver spins out of control, nearly crashes into train

Terrifying moments were caught on camera when a bus in Philadelphia spun out of control and drove over a median -- right toward an oncoming train.

The accident, which happened on Tuesday, occurred after the bus driver was thrown from her seat.

Authorities are investigating to see if the driver was thrown after failing to use her seatbelt.

In the video, the driver can be seen trying to make a U-turn around a freight train blocking her path.

She spins the wheel too far, causing her to completely slip out of her seat.

An onboard camera showed two women being violently thrown onto the ground.

Luckily, the train stopped and workers came to their rescue. All three women were treated for injuries.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority says the driver is facing disciplinary action and could be fired for not wearing her seat belt.
