Bomb squad responds to TD Bank in Seven Corners after robbery

Arlington Boulevard has reopened in all directions at Patrick Henry Drive following a TD Bank robbery, according to Fairfax County police.

The robbery happened in the 6100 block of Arlington Boulevard in Seven Corners Tuesday afternoon. Police said a suspect left a backpack outside the bank saying there was an explosive in it.

Fairfax County police said the suspect is described as a white male in his 50s with white hair, a ponytail, and was wearing a yellow hat, sunglasses, a grey shirt and blue jeans.
