Body of second missing boater recovered in Potomac River

POINT OF ROCKS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Natural Resources Police say the body of a second boater missing since Sunday has been recovered from the Potomac River.

Spokeswoman Candy Thomson said Wednesday that the body of 62-year-old Lawrence Grey Jr. of Brunswick was pulled from the river Tuesday evening and identified Wednesday.

She says Grey's remains were found in the Great Falls area. That's about 30 miles downstream from Point of Rocks, where he and 51-year-old Robert E. Lee of Frederick began their fishing trip Sunday morning.

Lee's body was identified Tuesday after it was pulled from the river near Noland's Ferry, about three miles from the launch point.

Thomson says neither man appears to have been wearing a life jacket. She says autopsies will be done to determine how they died.
