Will You Eat There? Mussel Bar and Grille in Bethesda

"Will You Eat There?" landed in Bethesda, Md., and your tweets helped us pick a restaurant inspired by the best of Belgium.

We are talking about food and beer and it is all brought to you by Robert Wiedmaier, who is widely known to local foodies as one of the best in our region.

We let Mussel Bar and Grille know of the great news that FOX 5's Will Thomas would be stopping by and he checked them out.

If the name didn't give it away, they feature a lot of mussels in a lot of different way: Thai curry, Mediterranean, White Wine and other variations. They also have three different types of oysters from the West and East Coast.

Their Tuna Loin dish is encrusted in different spices and served rare. It is also served with cucumbers and other greens like radishes, kale and tomatoes.

If you're not into mussels, this is where the "grille" part comes in.

Their calamari is fresh-grilled squid served with lamb sausage. The Tart Flambée, a fancy flatbread pizza, is another fan favorite.

They also have a massive Belgium and American beer selection. They offer 13 rotating drafts, more than 160 bottles and always featuring seasonals and focusing on new and local breweries.

Their lunch menu ranges from $10 to $17. Dinner items are from $17 to $28. On Tuesdays, there are $1 oysters all day long and $5 champagne as well.

Mussel Bar and Grille embraces a casual concept. Wiedmaier calls it "a fun place to come and have casual, good food executed well."

Customers say it a relaxed scene and a neighborhood place where you may see familiar faces. It's a fun place to come for happy hour too.
