Take a look at the temperatures today!
When they reach single digits - like they did overnight and on Thursday morning - you usually want to dress in layers of clothing.
Dressing in layers provides much needed insulation between you and the cold.
Most cold weather experts say to use a thin, synthetic inner-layer that won't get wet when you sweat, followed by a mid-layer to absorb moisture, and finally an outer-layer to keep out the chill.
That's just one way.
If you're out exercising in the cold, you may take a different approach. Chris Farley, owner of Pacers Running, joined us with some cold weather running tips. http://www.myfoxdc.com/story/27790001/cold-weather-runner-chris-farley-makes-trip-from-georgetown-to-fox-5-studio
