WASHINGTON (AP) - Amtrak has announced that it will modify service for the Northeast Corridor on Monday in response to the snow storm.
Amtrak says the Acela Express and Northeast Regional service will operate between Boston and Washington, but that passengers should expect reduced frequency in service, particularly passengers traveling north of New York.
Amtrak says train service between New York and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; New York and Albany, New York; Brunswick, Maine and Boston and New Haven and Springfield, Connecticut will operate as scheduled.
A release sent on Monday afternoon said passengers with reservations who require modification will be accommodated on other trains, and that Amtrak is actively monitoring the storm.
