A three year old boy has been found wandering on a street in Arlington

According to the Arlington County Police public information officer Dustin Sternbeck, around 1 pm Saturday, someone driving in the area, saw a little boy wandering on 4th street N.  in Arlington and called police.

Officers responded to the area and found the boy on the street and took him with them at the station.

Police located the parents, eight hours later, after a friend of the family saw the coverage and tracked down the dad.

Sternbeck says no one had called the station to report a missing kid in the area.

The little boy is in good spirits, but, because of his age, he has hard time communicating with them.

Investigation is ongoing.
