Man living in fear after alleged threats by neighbor

A Maryland man says he's been harassed by one of his neighbors for more than a year - and now that neighbor is being accused of going too far.

New Market resident Dante says his next door neighbor, Shaun Porter, uses his front yard as a public display of anger and rants.

Dante claims Porter calls out the neighborhood's home owners association, its board members, and has even put up their photos.

FOX 5's Marina Marraco says that authorities are aware of Porter's actions and have been gathering written statements from neighbors detailing his alleged activity. In a video shared with FOX 5, Porter can be seen riding a motorcycle close to a school bus in what some say was a display of harassment.

A warning sign on Porter's property states: 'No Trespassing, Visitors Will Be Shot. Survivors Will Be Shot Again.'

"He's threatening. He's harassing…Thursday night he put my name on that truck -- then it became a direct attack," said Dante after Porter allegedly spray-painted his name and a profanity on his truck.

"My family, in 2015, should not be subject to a hate crime…it's absolutely ridiculous…I feel like I'm living in the 50s," he said.
