911 service in Howard County restored after brief outage

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. - 911 service in Howard County has been restored, authorities say. The emergency line was reported down by police just before 6 a.m. on Monday and was back up in service in about an hour.

Howard County police say that anyone still experiencing problems can dial 410-313-2911.

It is unclear what caused the 911 line outage.
