WASHNGTON - Get the salt ready. A refreeze is on the way. From Wednesday night into Thursday morning., temperatures will fall back into the teens-- causing all of the water from the melting snow to freeze back up.
That means the roads and sidewalks will definitely be slippery for the Thursday morning commute.
Because of this, you'll want to make sure to use salt Wednesday night to try and prevent as much ice from forming as possible. And of course, make sure you're careful and take it slow on Thursday morning, whether you're traveling on foot or by car.
The snow isn't falling, but we're not out of the woods just yet!
